I have to admit, I really, really love Halloween...time to let the ghouls out! I found this creepy cake at my local grocer’s...just look at those eyes! I asked the decorator how she made them, and she told me they were just balls of fondant painted with food coloring to look like eyes. How cool is that? She went on to say that if she REALLY wanted a realistic effect, she would have brushed the eyes with clear piping gel...I can only imagine! I also love the way she airbrushed the icing “bandages” with black airbrush color...gives it so much dimension. Creeptastic!
