Elegant Halloween

Continuing in the Spookalicious vein...look at these amazingly elegant Halloween skull cupcakes! The decorating is really outstanding...these cupcakes look good enough to be featured on Martha Stewart, don't ya think? I sure do. I love how the fondant work on the tops of the cupcakes matches the cupcake liners, now THAT is really neat. I know that they must have used an impression mat to make the scroll effect on the fondant, but I wonder how they made the raised lines darker? They must have brushed on the color--but liquid or powder, I wonder? I would love to be at the party where these are served, can't you just imagine the table, with dry ice swirling all around these yummy creations? Cool!
